Where to go out · TANZANIA BAR CRAWLS
Every trip has one night that needs a plan. These 4 tanzania bar crawls are priced and timed so it can be settled in minutes and forgotten about.
Spend three hours exploring Dar es Salaam after dark with local guide Derick Lawrence. Visit bars and lounges, sample mishkaki and seafood, see the city from a rooftop, hear African music, and finish at a nightclub. Transport is included, but drinks, some venue fees, and extra meals cost more.
Join Samwel and the Sana Africa Projects team for a 2 to 4 hour night out in Arusha. Meet at the Clocktower Roundabout or arrange pickup, then move by safe transport between local bars, karaoke rooms, clubs, pool halls, and food stops. Drinks and meals cost extra, while entrance fees and bottled water are included.
Start with a morning pickup and private visit to Materuni village near Kilimanjaro. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and prepared, then hike to a waterfall and natural pools before lunch. After time to rest in Moshi, return for an evening nightlife outing. The 17-hour day includes transport, guide, water, lunch, and dinner.
Meet your local guide at Stone Town’s Old Fort at 7:00 pm for a private evening pub crawl. Visit three changing bars, sample included local beers, hear about Zanzibar nightlife and history, and get tips for continuing on your own. Guide Juma has led personal outings, including one-on-one crawls.
“Juma was an excellent guide to help me learn more about Zanzibar and explore Stone Town at night. I was the only guest that night and had a personal pub crawl experience, which was cool because I could explore some places I might not have seen with a larger group. A very good time!”
Pick a kind of night, or a bar that floats.
